Dave Scott-Morgan, former guitarist with the Electric Light Orchestra, leads his group MOrganisation in original songs, rock ‘n’ roll classics and quintessential ELO hits. The music of the Beatles, Dylan, Buddy Holly and ELO both influence and feature in the stage show but the stars are Dave's original songs - humourous yet disciplined toe-tapping tales.
Dave Scott-Morgan - aka Dave Morgan - started out playing in Birmingham bands (THE UGLY’S, MAGNUM etc.), writing songs recorded by THE MOVE, WISHFUL THINKING. - The song 'HIROSHIMA' was a hit twice in Europe (reaching No.4 in Germany sung by SANDRA). In 1981 Dave joined the cosmic Birmingham group ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA (guitar, synth, vocoder + back-up vocals), and is credited on ELO's SECRET MESSAGES and Jeff Lynne's ARMCHAIR THEATRE. Albums of Dave's own songs include CDs made with ELO musicians Richard Tandy and Martin Smith (EARTH RISE, THE B.C. COLLECTION), plus several Inspirational CDs. The more recent albums 'Across the Divide' and 'Bubbles' are eclectic mixes of genre and MOrganisation shows include several tracks.
Who are they? - Dave and Mandy Scott-Morgan, Alan Piano Smith, Jack Rosa and Alex Lowe - Dave's music creation tribe. Whether house gig, festival or multi-media presentation, MOrganisation bring shows laced with melody, humour and nostalgic anecdotes taken from Dave's autobiography: 'Patterns in the Chaos'.
